I have a Screamin Eagle Tuner on my Cvo Road King. The bike seems to hesitate/cut out at low speed. Above 2k rpm it seems to run fine. It has been in for tuning three times now and still had the same issue. Does anyone else have this issue? Also am interested in if any of you use a different tuner and are happy with the results. Thx
Is it the Street Performance tuner or the Pro Supertuner? The street performance is basically useless; having no adjustment for most parameters. Basically the same as a download, which is useless.
The SE tuner works just fine. Buying a PC V will get you nothing you don't already have. You need to find a tuner who knows what they are doing.
This. The SEPST is a much better tuner than the PCV. You be able to get just as good a tune out of the SEPST as anything else except going for a wideband flash tuner (like the Thundermax).
From: Back in the Good Ole USA. South Carolina to be exact.

Lots of good info in this thread. It's a bit long, but if you want to learn;
Be careful, thereare a couple things we dont usually think about when we add a tuner
As far asyour bike is concerned, that tuner is foreign object. It doesnt happen oftenbut any time you introduce a foreign component to your electrical system, damagecan happen (Fried my ECM)
And guesswhat the supplier wont be there to help. There are no refunds on open boxes andforget about getting reimbursed for fried parts.
Im out$1000 and I eventually I found that the flash works just fine.
I say, scrapthe tuner and get the download.
Oh, anyonewant to by a slightly used Cobra Fi2000?
I've used the SE Super tuner on my last 3 bikes without issue. You MUST find a good dyno guy to make it work correctly. (That's with any tuner) My '14 had to go back after the first dyno tune...same issue you described. Slight hesitation under 2,000 RPM. They did a re-tune and it now runs beautiful.

Its the super tuner.. I'm thinking I'll have to go with a PC V so I have an independent tune it. ....?
which tuner you going with after the PCV?
The SEPST is a fine tuner in the right hands. since you already have it married to the ECM it is totally useless for any other bike.
why not use the tuner and fix the issue. If you really want help and are not just trolling then why don't you tell us about your bike, the map flashed to it. was it dyno tuned, for how long, or was it just flashed with a canned map and they called it tuned. perhaps post up the VE tables

It was dyno tuned. They broke it in on the dyno the first time. I am unsure for how long. I have called the moco for the map printout and will post as soon as I get it.. Thanks for the look. .
