Orange County Choppers
WAAAAA! IF you complain about the show or the their bikes your a jealious bitch.
They build bikes, like many companies do, if it s not your cup of Joe then don't buy it or watch it. but bash on them for being successful? GFYS!
I don't know them. Won't buy their bikes and could care less if they are rich or not. OCC has done a great deal of good things with their success many are named in this forum. Most of them are good hard working people who just happened to fall in to a **** load of money.
If you think you can do better then pitch your crap to Discovery. And when they tell you you ain't got anything anyone wants to see don't frinken whine cause "you can do better." Just do it and hope that someone notices, JUST LIKE OCC DID. Then your fans who have nothing better to do can trash on you too.
Jesse James told the world to leave him the F*** alone in his last documentary. Closed his new shop doors and said FU. He got rich and got out good for him.
It must suck to be as jealious as some of you people are.
The people who buy these things have enough money to burn a wet elepahnt.
I'd rather watch them build something and explain why they do what they do.
At least they don't hide the crow bar, and I respect that.
I am sure Ness, Jesse, and all of the motorcycle builders including your HD assembler has a crow bar in their tool box. And I am sure there is no rust on it either.
As a business owner and an employer of almost 40 people I have learned one standard business fact:
Deep in your soul, you don't feel thathappy customers are your top priority, the business really has no direction forward and into the future.
Personally, I wish them all the success in the world, but it's up to them to make it last into the future when the TV show is history....

Atenaten's comments are totally off the mark.
First off, I love watching OCC. It's simple entertainment and it is interesting to watch the ingenuity that goes into some of their bikes and parts. Heck, those of you who watch it know Vinnie is hooked to the Flo-Jet machine like white on rice and I find it amazing what they use it for, from parts, to tools. Sure, qaulity is a major factor in any business, just as customer service, nobody can argue that and I am not going to. You have to look at it this way as well though. How many of you know about Big Dog Choppers, Arlen Ness, or some of the other known names in the biking community? I am sure the majority of you will answer "I know them and others." Now peel your ***** off the computer chair and go out and ask your neighbors or co-workers if they know of those same names...odds are the majority of those you ask won't have a clue. But, if you spew out the name OCC they light up like a freaking ornament on a tree and say "Oh I know them, cool bikes." The fame of OCC brought a whole new breed of bikers, people who love entertainment but aren't really bikers at all. When I lived back in Minnesota a lot of people thought they were "bikers" because they knew of, and watched the show, or wore OCC apparel...yet the majority of them never touched/riden a motorcyle. It's business...merged with fame, there will always be the good and the bad, but if you focus on just the bad you cannot appreciate the good from a company.
Good or bad, OCC has given inspiration to a lot of people, you can't even begin to deny that otherwise this thread wouldn't even be here. I have seen a few of the members here saying "they can do better" but when you sit and think, you really couldn't "do better" if somebody, or some company didn't inspire you to prove that you can...
Oh...and this post just burned my fuse -
I don't hate them, but if I ever saw one of them broke down on the side of the road alone, I'd just keep riding by.
