Used to, when I was younger and the back was in better shape. In '98, a buddy and I went to Sturgis and stayed in tents at the Chip. After Sturgis he went on to see a cousin in TX and I went to visit my brother in Tucson. Wife (was on number 2 at the time) flew out and met me in Tucson and we rode to see the Grand Canyon and Sedona (luckily I could store all the extra gear in my brother's garage), total mileage for the trip was just under 6000 and for most of those the bike was so loaded down the rear of my '97 RK bottomed out going over a 1" bump. Inventory included tent, sleeping bag, chairs, soft ice chests, cooking equipment, various and assorted sundries, clothes, souvenirs, rain gear, tools, etc.. Fun times.
OP I hope that's a cheap guitar your hauling around like that lol. Sun+heat+guitar= disaster. Learned that lesson with a Martin I had. Now I got a Gibson flattop and I'm scared to take it out of the house lol
Pardon my ignorance, but what is "OP?" I would assume, "Original Post," but you know the whole assume thing.
Sun+heat+guitar=disaster was considered, but the distance was fairly short and the sun not that intense. However, it should still be a cheap guitar, but "Delores" my 1994 Gibson J-200 just sounds so sweet. Very difficult to leave her behind.
