Sun+heat+guitar=disaster was considered, but the distance was fairly short and the sun not that intense. However, it should still be a cheap guitar, but "Delores" my 1994 Gibson J-200 just sounds so sweet. Very difficult to leave her behind.

OP is either "Original Post" or "Original Poster" depending.

IMO, the bungee net ranks right up there on the list of mankind's great inventions. If I can fit it in the saddlebag, or bungee it to the luggage rack, I ride the bike.

Bungee net is GREAT for holding the helmet on my t-bag when in a non-helmet state.

I've tried to pack less but I actually use most of what I pack. Even the tools.

I guess it's just me, but I never packed that much stuff on a trip in my life, even in a car.
