I've always wanted a Harley, the look, the sound, the feel. The fact that everyone and their dog makes parts for them. I've ridden Honda's, Suzuki's, Kawasaki's, and even a few BMW's and a triumph. I always told myself once I got a decent paying job out of college I would treat myself, and finally at the ripe old age of 24 I came across a screaming deal and have never looked back. Nothing quite has the feel of a Harley. I've ridden bikes that are faster, better handling, and much more technologically advanced...but there's just something about a Harley....
I thought it looked good (my current bike). I expected to hate it after having owned several sportbikes before, and get rid of it not long after buying it. That was 7 years ago...
Loud pipes save lives and fingerless gloves keep your hands cooler in the summer and make it easier to get change out of your pocket. Chaps are more comfortable than leather pants and break the wind.... Anymore questions?

I'll treat this as a first time ever question and I will answer it like I have told others, If I had to explain it, you'd never understand and one more. Once you get on a Harley, nothing else will do.
Rode/owned a few different bikes, 2 weeks after riding a friends' Harley I owned one, and I don't see myself going back to sport bikes unless I have extra cash and it's for the track/dedicated canyon carver.
