One question for you camping vets: any problem with personal belongings disappearing during the day while you are out riding? I really want to make the trip but most likely a last minute decision and camping would work the best for my wallet. Glencoe looks like a fun place.

Stayed two years in a row at Lamphere Ranch, never locked a thing. I never locked the truck, trailer, bike, beer or moonshine. I got up in the morning and rolled out, when I got back everything was where I left it. Last year, I left a few items behind when I left and the folks next to me realized it was mine, they called me and mailed me my stuff free. I payed them back with some non taxed shine so all is well. You can't beat the Lamphere Ranch in my view. Location and the people that work there bend over backwards for you.
