Hi guys im steve new here,i have a 93 fat boy and when i turn my ignition to the right all lights work fine,as soon as i turn it to the left twice to start it the brake light doesnt work with the foot pedal or hand brake lever, can anyone help?
Im confused , on my fatboy , the switch is turned clockwise to turn it on, and start it.
turn it to the center to turn it off.
If I turn it to the left (counterclockwise) that is the "accessory" position
from what your written,, then just turn it to the Right to start ONLY... That's all I've ever done on mine for 8yrs.. you said yourself all is well if you do that..

just to see if the light worked when turned that position it does, but when i turn it to start up the light doesnt work when brakes are pressed
Now I am really confused.????
the accessory position does not activate the brake lights.( yes it will start, but why?.
run it in the "on position"
So if you want brake lights ,then don't turn it to the left.
Kinda like : Every time I push here ,it hurts...duh , don't push there
