Default Changing Bars ????????

Im in the process of changing bars on my 07 street glide. I will be using the same grips. What's the best way to change the existing grips to the new bars? Do I need to to take the grips out of the switch housing, or do I just slide every thing off of the old bars and on to the new bars?

Thanks,
Brian

easiest when is to just slide everything off , just loosen the torx bolts on the switch housing and slide off taking ur time , you shouldnt have to remove ur cables at least i didnt on my old sporty when i change from stock bars to drag bars
