Default 1996 RK Engine Break In

I have a '96 RK that I bought from a collector w/ 8 miles on it, and I currently have 240 miles on it, working not he break in process. The owners manual explains the break in procedures for the first 500 miles. I have the opportunity to run up the 101 from SoCal to the Bay Area, but it would put me about 250 miles over the break in process (750 Miles on odometer). I'm curious on thoughts on how detrimental an extra 250 miles would be on the bike, and if it is worth risking. I plan on changing the fluids after the break in as per the OM. Thoughts?

No problem on the Xtra mileage. Run it up and back.
