New to Harley, just got a 2015 Street Glide. Found some slip ons and air cleaner that I would like to put on. Do I have to get the Stage 1 service when i put them on? Can I ride without?

Oh, boy, are you in for it!
My $0.02? I bought my FXDWG from a dealer, and he said the HD Stage I "download" for this is basically a waste and told me to save my money. Just to be safe, I bought and installed a pair of XieD's to richen up the mixture a bit. Now over 5K miles, and nary a problem since.
What he said DOES make sense because if nothing else, you won't find a litany of woe here on this Forum from people who did a stage I without the "Download" and DIDN'T burn up their engines from an overlean mixture ...
