Default Harley Davidson lift jack

Time to buy a lift and am leaning towards the J&S do to the positive reviews. Not interested in Craftstman or HF lifts. But haven't seen any opinions on the HD branded lift when this subject is brought up. Anyone have actual side by side comparison/thoughts between the JS and HD lifts, and those 2 only? Or who makes the HD jack?

Thanks

Don't bother with the HD lift as it's only marginally better than the sears model at 3X the price. Stay with the J&S, you won't be sorry.

To overpriced for what you get. The jack I use I've had for years, had many bikes on it. Never an issue. Good luck with your search.

Looking at the one on the harley page, it is pretty much identical to the HF and Sears jacks. Harley wants $299.95 whereas you can get the exact same for under $100.00 or $189.95 at HF or $130.95 at Sears.

Just tossing that out there....

Good luck on your search...

Ordered the JS lift last night. Current price is $419, (plus a free oil pan) During my reviews research, I ran across some posts over a yr old that list them at $498. Is it just a price drop or are the older models different than current models that warrants a bigger price tag?

As they have been able to make more because of the demand for their products, the price has come down. It's the exact same jack as the older ones. Good choice, you'll be pleasantly pleased with it.
