Default Thread chaser/tap/die

Just wondering - Does anybody else routinely use a thread chaser or tap and/or die on the bolt holes and bolts before reassembling bike components? I always do, I believe it helps to prevent stripped bolts, etc., and clean threads help in getting the proper torque. I'm not talking about obviously bad threads, but every bolt and hole for everything I take apart and put back together. Or am I just being too **** about it?

Seemed like common sense to me considering that loctite needs a clean, dry surface for it to work properly.
