I got a replacement fuel tank today which I was told was for a 06 road king. it has no part numbers other than a 2008 date stamp. I started looking at pics and discovered its a dyna tank by the way it mounts. (90* tabs on the rear vs flat tabs on the road king)
being new to this whole Harley thing I am a bit confused on interchange. I know it will not fit my bike but this should fit dyna and soft tail models. correct?
I am just going to resell it but would like to know what it fits so I don't look even more like a doofus. 08-up......?
Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. You may find this on-line website helpful. You know the tank is an '08, so can look through Dyna and Softail models, to see drawings of the options available. You can then Google models, to see photos of real bikes, which should help you confirm what you have.
