Well, I didn't even know it was required. I'd try the Indy shop like you said and you've probably got a good chance they'll pass it. I never had a problem with my last bike. I checked out your link and damn that's a nice bike! If the inspection mechanic asks about baffles you could tell him they are in there further up the exhaust past the bend. Can't stick a dowel rod around the corner, lol

YUP! Find a good indy shop. Where I take our bikes I get asked one question..."Does everything work?" Of course the answer is always "Yes." And then we sit down on the front porch , fill out paperwork, pay and shoot the breeze!

Some good information there guys, thank you. I'll play it by ear when I get there. I'm thinking I'll make contact with the DMV (I guess that's where I need to go first), and go by their instructions. Thanks again, guys!

i just had some fiberglass wrapped ones and they stayed in there long enough to get me out of the inspection station. motorcycle inspections are just stupid.
