Hello all,
I posted this the other day in the electrical forum but thought I would post it here also.
Have a 1983 Ultra and whenever I turn the switch to "fork lock" the headlight comes on which pretty much negates leaving the bike parked with the forks locked. Has anyone out there had a similar issue? The switch isn't made quite like these newer ones which can be misaligned and reassembled.
How long have you had the bike and has this started recently? In other words was it OK once, but has now changed. Have you done any wiring-related mods recently? That switch is known to fail after many years service, so may simply be due for a pension!
