Start Up Problems
I have a 2012 Fat Bob I am having some trouble with on startups. I will list every thing that happens but note that these all happen at random time during any conditions and only upon start up, and the inter warning display shows. After start up the bike runs fine.
1. After startup bike idol high the comes down to normal.
2. Hesitates to start. I push the starter and instead on starting right up it [cha cha cha cha cha] then starts up
3. when I push starter nothing happens, engine does not turn over but a loud bang sound comes from what sounds like the crankcase or clutch area then starts.
In all cases the bike always starts and after starting runs fine. Can someone please help me figure what is causing this? Remember any of these happens a random time and any condition. Example I ride my bike from work to stop at the bank to deposit a check. when back on the bike and loud bang happens.
