I took the engine guard off my 05 EG Standard, and took it to get it powdercoated (although with the light bar, turn signal and spotlights). The engine guard appears to have warped just slightly in the pc process (although all the other parts I got back on just fine), and as such I can't get the guard back on! route2null came over one afternoon and helped me bend it (he pulled while I pulled the other direction), and we got it closer to lining up, but with both of us we still couldn't get it completely on!
My question is, should I just suck up my pride, take it to a shop, and see if they can force it on? Or should I just suck my pride up more and buy an engine guard (from zanotti's or chicago hd, so it won't be as painful) that is already powdercoated and shouldn't have any problems fitting? As both mean my pride is gone, which would be the better solution?
