i bought a 06 electra glide has from what i can tell a stage 4 kit on it how can i find out what has been done to the motor? i do not want to tear it apart to find out what was done.I called the dealer i got it from and he has no record or knows where or who did the work
^You forgot the big bore stage (stage 3), then stage 4 (headwork). A lot of times stage 3 and 4 are combined since the heads are pulled for bigger jugs. That is how he is at stage 4.
FWIW, I hate 'stages' strictly for this reason. I understand the need to try to classify different levels of mods/work; but between the HD forums and my Audi forums I am all staged out!
going off what my dealer said when i brought it in for dyno and tune. it has compression release on both heads screaming eagel heads air cleaner jugs and trans. i also found yesterday my dyno jet 3 was not working i unpluged it and pluged it back in and was working fine. i zip tied it together so it will not unplug in the future.
btw thanks for your responses. kinda sounds like i will never know. but i have a nice bike that i love to ride
