General Topics/Tech TipsDiscussion on break in periods, rider comfort, seats and pad suggestions. Tech tips as they become available will be posted here.
Hi,
After 5 years of owning my bike, and asking a lot of possibly dumb questions on this forum, I've finally gone and got a workshop manual. I'm just curious about intervals of general maintenance stuff. I definitely change my oils more often than HD suggests, I'm just wondering if there are any other things that you guys do either more or less often than the book recommends.
Thanks, Matt.
Change all fluids (engine, transmission, primary, fork, brake) at the beginning of riding season.
Only problem with that is, we ride 12 months of the year here in South East Queensland. There is no real riding season! So do I just pick a time and do fork and brake annually. Usually the other 3 are needed 6 monthly at @5000kms.
