I have looked all over the net for a GVWR on my 2011 H D Cross Bones but all I can find is Dry Weight. In calculating a driver weight and driver/passenger weight possibilities the dry weight of 700# doesn't leave any weight for ME!
Anyone know a GVWR or a place to find it?
Sorry Rick58 but no, I don't own one. There was mention of looking at the vin number tag but this bike only has a vin number on the neck and I don't see any tag.
There is a vin number stamped into the neck on the right side, but I could not find a plaque or tag anywhere.
Should be on the paperwork that came with your bike? With the VIN you can get a copy of the owners manual, via the H-D website by using the Owners tab.
If you ever did brass rubbings in your youth you could rub a pencil on paper over the VIN on the frame, which may make it more legible!
