super glide rear wheel
does anybody know about rear wheel offset? The rear wheel and fender ofmy '73 super glideare offset. nothing looks bent or twised or loose. The fender looks good by the frame, the wheel looks good by the swingarm and chain. The tire is almost touching the left side of the fender, and with a new bolt in the strut it is touching. what am I missing?

My Ironhead had similar problem when I got it. I talked to my indy buddy about it. He said the fenders some times get a bit of a tweak in the struts and don't line up exactly the way they should. He is a big, strapping kind of guy. He grabbed my fender from under the strut and gave it a couple of hard jerks till it was back where it should be.
