Brake Parts Cleaner - Safe For Use On Parts

Default Brake Parts Cleaner - Safe For Use On Parts
I've been looking around at different brake/parts cleaner to use on cleaning my cam gears and the inside of the gear case (and the inside of the gear case cover) as well as other parts. I remember hearing about there being certain brands or types that you SHOULD NOT use, however I can't seem to recollect which ones they were. Can anyone tell me the ones NOT to use or the chemicals/ingredients in certain cleaners that I should look for so as to steer clear of them. Many Thanks!

Stay away for the brake cleaner that says "chlorinated". You want the non-chlorinated.

I use this stuff at work called part wash it's great stuff it ears oil . I will look and see who makes it.

They've got this stuff that goes by the name of KEROSENE. Try it sometime.
