Default Sena10?????

My wife bought us a Sena10 dual setup. We both wear open 3/4 helmets and have the boom mic attached. When ridding she gets zero wind noise from my mic but I get tons of wind noise from hers. It's almost intolerable for me to listen to. She has the mic facing the right direction and has it close to her lips. Is there something better for us to try? I stuck my mic out in the wind and not blocked by anything and she still had no road noise. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Sounds like VOX is may be enabled on noisy one. I'd make sure VOX is disabled for a open face helmet setup.

Believe this may be the cause. Just enabled her unit. Will give it a try once we have a free minute. Thanks!!

Also there's an X shaped plastic piece that clips over the outside of the mic to cut down on road noise. Good Luck and let us know if the VOX setting helps, I'm going to check mine tonight for the same reason...

Been awhile since I'd connected mine to a Windows PC. It updated software & driver. Attached are my settings it gives you option to enable/disable VOX from phone & intercom.

I either didn't get directions or Sena's directions suck because I didn't even know that's what the X piece is even for. I was able to contact Sens support and she had me check to see if my VOX was enabled and it was not. I have enabled it but have not had a chance to test it as of yet. Thanks for all the help guy!!
