A little confused at 2 models that are available for and 17 Iron.
They don't make it clear on the difference between the 3" and the 1"Low.
I guess I could all them.
They were a great upgrade for me!
No more bottoming out ever again and as a result bike feels more stable than it did before.

Sounds good. American made too.

The bottoming out is important but I really need more stability in the front end. Out of all the bikes that I have rode over the years I think I distrust this stock one most. Feels pretty shaky when hauling on some mountain roads around here.

Thanks again, for the money I don't think I can go wrong.
Might just throw the switch on these.

I just rebuilt my front forks on my '98 Super Glide with a Drag Specialties rebuild kit. If I remember correctly, the kit is the same for your bike. It worked perfectly and I was able to replace (if I wanted or needed) anything on the forks. Easy job, just time consuming. Took me, a seriously disabled gimp, about 3 hours I think it was, maybe 4. $50 beats $100+++ any day of the week and the bike rides like new again and will be good for another 20 years.

Also, I went with Progressive springs in the front forks. Being a heavy person of 6' 1" @275 pounds I wanted to make sure I wouldn't bottom out the forks and screw things up badly. Worked out perfectly for me. All tolled the springs and kit came out to something like $150 I guess, not bad for fixing the front end ride on a motorcycle.
