Default 2012 Heritage Classic soft bag removal...

Scratching my head...

Trying to remove soft bags from my 2012 FLSTC, and am stumped! Assumed I'd just remove nuts and washers from inside bags and slip off, but these things aren't budging! What am I overlooking?

Thanks! Been riding for 50 years, but my first HD...loving it!

Should just be the two nuts inside the bag and the rod on the bottom of the bag. I think they connect somewhere close to the swingarm if I'm not mistaken
