air cleaner insert question

air cleaner insert question
I want to remove the insert on the stock air cleaner housing its slightly damaged how is it attached to the housing? double sided tape or glue? is there an easy way to remove it without scratching up the chrome on the cover? thanks

Don't know what bike you have and also don't know if it matters, but from what I've seen it is glued on. Use heat, either a hair dryer or gently use a heat gun. It's easier if you take the cover off first.
