Measuring axles

Need a little more info of the bike you put them on... Do you have access to a set of Vernier calipers? if not post a couple of pic's with a tape measure over the area in question..

Better than vernier are digital.. You can find them at home depot or lowes.. HF are a little cheaper. If you plan to work on your bike, it's worth having a set.

Yep.
Front end is ON IT, stick a tape measure through the axle holes and measure outside to outside and add for washer and nut.
OR put the axle you have in and see how much short it is.
Gonna be a real riot to get the wheel centered and rotors and caliper aligned, if axle measurement is an issue.
