Helllo my evo has a headquarters cam , v@h long shots and altima single fire ignition . I palan on replacing the carb with a super E than get it on the dyno . Do I have to replace the cables ? Is this to much carb ? Any input would be helpful thank you Jeff

No. The E is very versatile. I have one on my 74"shovel and used to run it on my 80" Evo. Now I have the G on it.. For the Jets a good starting point would be a .0295" on the intermediate and a .070" on the main... 1 1/2 turns on the idle mixture and 2 full turns on the accelerator pump....

thank you for the help . is it best to order the manifold in the kit or use the existing HD one ?

You never stated what year and model. If you have 2 throttle cables it won't be an issue. Just follow S&S's directions. You will need the manifold in the kit.. It will not bolt up to the OEM intake.

SnS has 2 cable brackets that allow you to use your stock cables depending on whether you are running the old (butterfly only) or new (CV) Keihin carb. On the later CV carb replacement, if the stock cables are short from the carb to the bars you might need to find longer ones as the cables run to a different location on the E compared to the CV. E is fine for an 80 ci Evo motor. Year would be helpful here.
