Default Sissy Bar Backrest falling off

i just bought a brand new Harley at the end of June and the dealer installed the sissy bar with the detachable backrest.

Today was was the first time I got the girl on the back and the part way through the ride the backrest fell off.

Screws and bracket to hold backrest to sissy bar are still as tight as they can be.

Has as anyone else had this problem and what did you do to fix it?

Personally, if the dealer installed it, I'd take it back to them and see what they have to say about it.

I was going to say a little locktite on the screws but you said the screws are still there. Did it rip right out of the threads?
