Ignition Switch Re-Key
The bike is a 2010 Softail.
I have a new ignition switch (71313-96A) that I would like to disassemble and transfer the lock barrel from the old one into the new. I want to keep my old keys.
Either I don't have the right tools, it's a one way assembly, or there is something I'm just missing. I need a step by step guide by someone that knows what they are doing.

this may help... watch the youtube clip, starting around 1:35 he mentions pulling the switch apart and shows a circlip on the back.
It looks like you should be able to swap the key barrel over.
