Welcome from the frozen North land of North Dakota. Police bikes are not the norm and as such you may not find much info for the retrofit, however I would follow the wires to the main harness and see what you have there. There may be a disconnect that you could get to to change the wiring there for the speedo and tach. Check the link below for the fiche.
