So I came up with a solution to mounting my heat-troller to my handlebars. I didn't want anything permanent, so I decided to use some GoPro mounts that I have. If you don't already have a GoPro or something similar, mounting kits can be found pretty cheap on Amazon. I found a really (overly) complete kit for $15, but rummaged through my kit first and found what I needed. I am using a First Gear remote dual heat-troller. I hope this helps if you have also been looking for a removable solution to mounting a heat-troller. Ride safe and keep the shiny side up!! Here are all the parts that I used. There are two different length screws and handles. To make this work I had to switch a long screw to a short handle. You will need to remove the nut from the bar clamp. This is also where the longer bolt will go. Just a mock up to see how everything fits. I am going to change out some of the longer screws for a cleaner look. Definitely want to change these, way too long for my taste. Here's the overall set up. Pretty basic, but you can add more pieces for more adjustability.
