Looking at buying a new RG and wondering what fits without cable/wiring mods. Looking for something wider and more pullback.... Send pictures of your bike if you can............THANKS
There are many, many threads on this in the archives. The consensus is that if you don't want to change out cables/wiring, consider stock Dyna Wide Glide bars. That's what I did.
I have a 06 RG, I had to put pull back bars on it because the stock bars where causing me to have a shoulder problem after about 30 miles or so. They did have to change the cables and all but man was it worth every single $$ I spent. I love it

i replaced the stock bars on mine with the mini-apes that come on the wideglides (actually had a set that i had pulled off my wideglide that i put over on the roadglide). all the stock cables work, but it does not give you much more pullback. they are more comfortable, slightly wider and higher, but not that much closer. i am still looking to change more. some are using the heritage bars, although i do not know anything about their fit.
other options are the wild 1 chubby bars made for roadglides that have a lot of pullback - the 517's. they supposedly use stock cables, although you may have to bend the one cable a little. go to their website and check out the 517 model. i am considering their 502 model which is a 12.5" ape with a lot of pullback. they may seem tall, but they actually fit me much better and the hand position is much better - probably will require cable modifications. wild1inc.com
another alternative are the"sweeper stretch"design of the khrome werks bars - model 300502. they do not have a lot of pullback, but should be about right if the bars are rotated slightly backward. they have a different look that is nice.
