Default Stretch side covers & passenger floorboards

I couldn't decide which forum to post this question, decided to start here. I put Hogworkz stretch bags and side covers on my 2014 SGS. I bought Arlen Ness passenger floorboards. The floorboards will mount to oem passenger floorboard hardware but, the post does not put the floorboard far enough out to allow me to fold it up without hitting the stretch side cover. Was hoping someone else has had the same issue and found a solution. Thanx

I’m in for the solution for this as well. Mine isn’t my side covers, but I went to true duals on my 15 RK and I can’t fold my legs due to hitting the left side exhaust. Someone has to make a spacer for the mounts.

You might be on to something. Maybe a longer bolt and a spacer. I'm guessing a inch might do it, off to Ace hardware to see what they have.

Look at V Twin Goodies, they make rear floorboard spacers

Ive kinda looked around. I’m running a solo seat right now so haven’t been in a huge hurry. Thought about taking the mounts to a machine shop and have them just machine a 1 inch spacer with the little locator peg on one side and the locator hole in the other. Would prob look better that way too seeing as it could be made in the kind of oblong shape the base of the peg mount is. Also pretty obvious probably but I meant pegs not legs. Usually if I bend my leg into the hot exhaust I unbend it even faster 😂

I'm going to try the spacer from vtwingoodies I think. I'm going to order the floorboard mount and see if it looks like 1 inch will give me the clearance I'm looking for. I'll keep y'all posted on the results.
