Hey guys, I've been looking at getting a new front wheel and started looking closely at things and noticed a big gap between the spacer and the right hand fork. There's no movement in the spacer, but it just doesn't look right to me. It's been 4 years since I put the 07 wheel on my 06 and it doesn't handle any different, no wobbles no vibrations. Just wanted to know if I can keep riding or does it need to go up on blocks??? Does the axle step down?!

The axle is up against the spacer, it`s outside diameter is larger at one end, when you torque the nut on the other end of the axle, it pulls that end against the wheel spacer.
Axle partially removed.
Axle pulled up against spacer.
