Default Changing seat

I have a CVO 2004 Harley-Davidson FXSTDSE2 with the OEM 2-up seat and want to install a LePera bare bones. When I removed the current seat I noticed 3 bolts at the top of the fender that were under the seat. I can cover these with a bib once the bolts are removed, but does anyone know what these bolts are for. Also I believe the LePera seat for this bike attaches in the front and has holes for bolts on the sides, but I did not see any holes?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The 3 bolt/holes are to mount the Back Rest
