bike mount Camera Recommendations
I had an old one which recorded 720p but you couldn't even make out a license plate at 12 feet, so I need something a lot better than that. I don't want to go down the go-pro route (I have two) since I want to hardwire it in so I never need to charge or forget to turn it on!
I was looking at this, but even the review of this aren't too great
I just have a cheapo knockoff mounted on the front of my RGS wired to my cigarette lighter for power.

Always recording, powered off the bike.
I'm about to put my GoPro Hero 7 Black for sale. Battery time is a joke. Video quality was amazing though.
here is a snap shot from Video.

Maybe I could buy a couple of those and mount one at the front and one at the back, except they aren't waterproof

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
one of the first videos I remember looking for after a ride was a classic
the rear camera shows my boy comin up behind me on his DLR, distracted..... he notices the stop sign and locks his rear tire up as he stops
the front camera shows a nice looking girl in a pair of short shorts, fishing a wedgie out of the crack of her bottom, as she hears his screeching stop, she turns back briefly, smiles, and keeps walking
got some footage of a few close calls, one of my favorite was a group of about 12 metrics going the opposite way, when I dropped my hand and gave two fingers down, they all simultaneously lifted their hands and gave me the Forest Gump wave...that gave me a chuckle
But, if you must have a camera, then to illustrate the effects of "speed," you need to mount the camera as low as possible.
