Talking Advice on learning/guides

Hey all, young buck that has recently bought a Harley Davidson MC frame from around 1968 it's a shovelhead frame. I've built cars and such with my dad but I'm a bit in over my head with a motorcycle, also this is a project that I want to do all on my own. So I was just in the need for either advice on where to start and or internet sources I can use as a guide. I know it'll be expensive but I really want to do this all on my own. Advice welcome. For context I have the frame a pivot pin and a swingarm haha so Im literally at the bare bones of the bike. Thank you

Regardless of whether you want to go stock or not, you might want the factory parts manual.
It will help with setting configurations ans parts identification.
J&P Cycles is a good source for parts.

Factory Service Manual and the Parts Manual are two good places to start. Sounds like you might have all the tools you'll need. Parts may be the hardest part. Factory manual will help with how to's and the parts manual will give you part numbers AND an exploded view of various systems. That will help far more than one would think.
Good luck on your project!
