I have a 2007 CVO Road King. The stock bars cause issue for me for two reasons. First being that when I turn full lock like to make a u-turn they hit me in the knee because I'm fairly tall and t 6'2". Secondly the angle of the grips causes me to have to bend my wrist in a weird way which hurts after awhile. My knuckles are pointed more outward as opposed to straight ahead which is what I think would be better. So at any rate, I plan to slam on some new bars to fix these problems and to also look cool.
Can anyone confirm with some level of confidence that I'd be able to use the stock cables with those? If not can someone direct me to a similar style that would use stock cables? If I have to change the cables it's not the end of the world but for example if I knew for sure that 12 inch high bars could use stock cables but not the 14 inch I'd go with he 12 inch just to avoid the extra work of routing new cables If I need new cables either way then mays well go with the 14 inchers.
I'm not interested in any bars that are like $400+, because well I'm just gonna be honest, I'm a cheap bastard
