It appears they've outsourced overseas. The individual answering had no clue what I needed to do. Scary. Made me wonder if I dialed the correct number. 😕
well, that is what you expect from hd today.
their accessories side has long gone down the tubes. it seems that they no longer control what dealers buy and sell with the hd logo.
last december, i went to indianplois to pickup a trailer and like always, i vist the harley dealer as i collect shot glasses and coffee mugs and such besides t shirts.
i have always gotten quality stuff and have some at least 15 years old (+). well jump ahead 4 months, the coffee mug has gone to shinola!!
it does not have the fired in imagery but a painted one sorta decal like. it also did not have the hd registry or copy right marks. it seems that now it is a paper sticker and the dealer makes his own choice and you guessed it, the most cheapest way, read me, CHINA!!!
i had a long talk with joey at hd customer service about this issue and now come to the conclusion i will not buy from harley dealers, if i want shinola, i will get it off ebay and WITHOUT the high mark up that they put on it.
