Default 1st New Post - PIN Help

I have a 2020 HD Fat Bob. I am trying to get the trick to getting my PIN. I went to the manual, and looked online. I followed the directions.

With the Key FoB in my pocket, I cycle the engine on (not started), then off/on/off/on, left turn signal 2x, then right turn signal, but for the life of me I do not get to see the code to change.

I am sure it is something simple, as I just got the bike yesterday.

Thanks from CT.

Stephen

I don't know if it helps but this is for a street glide. What I used to add my pin.
Might check if these are similar instructions.

2 With an assigned fob present, turn the OFF/RUN switch to OFF.
3 Turn the ignition switch to IGN.
4 Cycle the OFF/RUN switch twice: RUN - OFF - RUN - OFF - RUN.
5 Press left turn signal switch 2 times.
ENTER PIN will scroll through the odometer window.
6 Press right turn signal switch 1 time and release.
Turn signals will flash 3 times. Current PIN will appear in odometer. The first digit will be flashing.
7 Enter first digit of new PIN by pressing and releasing the left turn signal switch until the selected digit appears.
8 Press right turn signal switch 1 time and release.
The new digit will replace the current in odometer window.
9 Enter second digit of selected PIN by pressing and releasing the left turn signal switch until the selected digit is present.
10 Press right turn signal switch 1 time and release.
The new digit will replace the current in odometer window.
11 Enter third digit of the selected PIN by pressing and releasing the left turn signal switch until the selected digit is present.
12 Press right turn switch 1 time and release.
The new digit will replace the current in odometer window.
13 Enter fourth digit of new PIN by pressing and releasing the left turn signal switch until the selected digit is present.
14 Press right turn switch 1 time and release.
The new digit will replace the current in odometer window.
15 Enter fifth digit of the new PIN by pressing and releasing the left turn signal switch until the selected digit is present.
16 Press right turn switch 1 time and release.
The new digit will replace the current in odometer window.
17 Turn the OFF/RUN switch OFF, then turn the ignition switch to OFF.
Pushing the OFF/RUN switch to OFF stores the new PIN in the module.

Op: Biggest mistake is usually not having the run switch “OFF”.

Stephen S - welcome and congrats on the new bike.

You mentioned you just got the bike and, are trying to get your PIN. I believe you want to instead "reset" your PIN, Please take a look at this.
Good luck

First of all "thanks to everyone" for the suggestions. The issue I was having was terminology. I didn't have a big ignition switch on the gas tank.

cycle7447- thanks that was it.

Have a great day and ride on.
