01 Fatboy new harley Poly riser bushings small?
I have changed riser bushings before on a couple of my other bikes but do not remember anything like this. I bought new Harley Poly riser bushings Part # 56165-03 for my 01 Fatboy. I popped out the old rubber ones no problem went to put in the poly one's and I would guess they are 1/4" smaller dia. then the rubber one's I pushed out...I double checked the part # and it is correct per Harley...am I missing anything?

Yep, you're missing the same thing I am. And I'm not sure what that is ???? Those bushings fit what, most softails for a thirty year spread. Like mid 80's to mid teens. Where did you buy them? Are they really genuine HD in HD packaging? If yes, take them back to whoever sold them to you and exchange them for the correct ones. It's rare but I have seen parts packaged or labeled wrong. This is assuming you or the PO haven't changed anything in the front end.
