I'd be worried about bikes with motors that don't burn a drop of oil. It means that no oil is sticking to the cylinder cross hatch to lubricate the rings and no oil is making past the valve seals to lubricate the guides. Get back to us after you have 40K to 50K
Bull. If that were the case it would self-destruct in a whole lot less than 40,000 miles.

You stated and I quoteI"it means no oil is sticking to the cylinder crosshatch to lubricate the Rings."
If there is no oil on those cylinder walls that means the rings are running against the cylinder wall with no lubrication. That means they're going to get so hot that it's going to cause an interference fit between the Rings/piston and cylinder wall which will cause that piston to seize in the cylinder. When that piston seizes in the cylinder at 60 miles an hour there's a good chance it's going to break the rod and that rod could very well go right through the cylinder wall. Ask me how I know. That's what I mean by self destruct in less than 40,000 miles.

Well you are agreeing with me then? Motor has to burn some oil.
I don't agree that if a motor seizes that it will break a rod afterwards but I'd guess your case is an exception.. Are you sure the rod didn't break first? For 1 pistons typically don't lock up instantly. They start to drag. You lose power and the motor stops. Have a buddy that just did that to a 68 Bonneville.
Same here. My 2007 used none when it was a 96 and still uses none after installing SE 103 jugs and pistons. Knock on wood.
Now I curious,, What difference does it make? Used to own a HD servicar.. Bike got about 20 mpg, had a 3 gallon tank and needed 1/2 qt about every 3 tanks..

When people say "I have no oil consumption" as I do, most people understand that to mean the oil isn't low enough to add any oil up to the point of the oil change. Then you get the few that take it literally.
