Here's my dilemma I bought a 2015 Harley Davidson road King police special at auction it's a beautiful bike already had it repainted lowered it change the seat rides like a dream
I do have an issue though I need help with my horn doesn't work so I push my horn button I can hear the horn make a little muted beep I don't know what else to call it you can barely hear it but it only lasts for about a second then I'm assuming that it pops the breaker or something I have to turn it off and turn it back on. I've changed the horn both horns work if I apply 12 volts to them if I put a volt meter on the wires to the horn and push the button I get 12.7 volts just no working horn any ideas?
Harley's horns have always sucked. There's an adjustment screw on the back of the horn. You'll have to remove the one nut that holds it on. Have someone push the horn button while you turn the screw. Turn the screw and see if it makes a noticeable difference. If it's totally dead, toss it and grab another one. Heck they sell replacement horns that will fit under the cover by me, at the local auto parts store.,,,
