Default 2010 Road King Bars

Can anyone tell me if you can get away from lengthing cables and wires when I swap my factory bars to 14" bars. Thanks in advance

I put 12" LA Choppers ( actually 13" ) on mine last year , original clutch cable , but it was close , any higher and I would have had to change it out . As for the wiring and brake lines , no , you'll need to lengthen them . I went with LA brake lines and I cut and soldered in all my extra wiring , however , going to aftermarket extension wiring would be easier to do . I also recommend getting rid of the green clip on the tgs and straight soldering all those wires , that clip causes more issues than anything else when changing bars .

You can go with 6" over for the brake line , for the wiring , go with 8" , you'll have plenty to work with when feeding them through the bars .
