First of all I really like the Quad Lock system. The components are vet well made and holds your phone very secure.
However,, I Cannot recommend the weatherproof wireless charger or the USB Smart adapter.
the smart adapter goes to your battery terminals and gives you a USB power connection that switches on when your battery is over 12.5v (running). Mine would randomly switch on/off while riding making it useless.
the weatherproof wireless charger just can't keep up.. with just normal services running and streaming music, over the course of an hour's ride, my battery level would stay the same, or even drop a couple percent
I recently got one also and so far no problems. I have it set on “auto” but turn off/on the switch on the wireless charging head to use. Still getting used to it. It is a brand new product from Quad Lock so it may have a few bugs, you might want to contact them and tell them what’s going on with yours.

I found some ADV guys who had similar issues, if I had seen that before I would have paused. As it is I am going to try something else with the charging head before I go to customer service with it.
They wanted me to video the failure on the adapter... I had to explain to them that shooting a video of the device being charged, with the device being charged, while riding a motorcycle was insane
