Default OEM H-D springer on a dyna lowrider?

few years ago came across a hell of a deal on a slightly bent, yet fixable OEM harley springer front end with the intentions of getting it straightened and eventually using it for a bike. lately i've been really digging the look of a springer front end on a Dyna. so my question is, has anyone or does anyone know someone who has done this to their Dyna? how involved is it? will i have to hack into the tank mounts or neck?

my dyna is in my profile and the springer forks are in my public album

I've looked into this. There is some grinding that needs to be done to make it fit.

I put a springer on my 1977 FXS Low Rider with no problems.

I`d wonder about fork stops.

If need be, you could set up some chains to limit fork movement as fork stops.

If that cylinder on the front is an oil cooler, it looks like one that I had. It was from a fellow in Alabama that I met 20 years ago. He designed and built only a few.
