Battery cable
Hello forum Bros I am wanting to install heavy duty battery cables on my 2014 ultra limited need help finding them Sumax is what I was wanting but they are never in stock. Thanks for all replies

i always make my cables from welding whip lead. they are very flexible and handles gobs of current. preferably a soldered connection, if you crimp, use a hex crimp and pack the connection with NO-OX before crimping.

You might also want to consider using star washers when connecting cables. That will help to keep the connections snug. Also I always smear a little di-electric grease on the fittings to prevent oxidation.

now if it is the ground, i will use a bonding strap. they come in many flavors from stainless to copper from bare to coated.
