Go to your local credit union. Tell hd to get bent.
I did exactly that and went back to the dealer and told them what I could get at my FCU and they matched through Eagle Mark. 1.99%. That was in November of 2021.
I'm so happy last year when I bought my new 22 Road Glide my credit union gave me 3.9%. I wouldn't have bought it had I came in at 10%, I would have bought used.
I submitted a credit app and was approved for way more than I need with a 719 credit score. I am looking at another 2022 RGS. ANy clue what the rate might be? I am taking the advise from here and not walking in with my check book to pay for it. If I can get a cheap rate, I can pay it off in a few months.

I applied Last week with a 790 credit score and they approved me for 60k lol
I applied last fall on-line with an 850 credit score, effectively no debt, and income I won’t report here but is more than satisfactory to buy anything in the showroom. I was approved for $13,000.
The Eaglemark system is fubar.
I financed a $32K deal, no down payment since they required I bring a bank check, the next day with Eaglemark.

I have for what is most of our adult lives done it a different way with bikes, cars and ATV.
Make payments to our self each month . Time for something new the cash is sitting in a fund. Serves two purposes.
Never pay interest it earns it. The second makes you think about it little more before you take out a check and fill it in.
Not the same mind set as when signing a contract.
The hard part is getting by with the first couple vehicles building up the fund.
