Well I have about 1000 miles on this external breather mod (though the canister parked inside the back cavity of the breather housing for a couple reasons). I made the mini canister as a proto type and for testing purposes, and is less than a half ounce in total volume with a deep well input tube, steel wool, screen and open cell foam to a vented cap.. I had just recently added my own engine crankcase vent system., completed the stage 2 mod, Oil pump, cam plate, lifter and lifter cuff replacements at the same time. Before I started the mods, I did notice a small amount of oil coming from the head bolts.. Today, I found about 5-6 drops of oil, and I'm glad to know this did not get back into my cylinders..overall I'm pleased with the venting mods You can see some oil within the steel wool. My cap jut pops off, and ill leave it upside down over night and wipe and squeeze the open cell foam dry of oil A full picture of my mini head vent into its canister, Any liquid oil has to be elevated higher than the header bolts before making it down to the canister.
